NOTE: The AquaCure gets ReFilled (from the Humidifier) everytime the Yellow ReFill light comes on
After ReFilling from the Humidifier (using the syringe through the Tower Cap fitting) you DUMP the rest of the Humidifier water and completely ReFill the Humidifier with fresh distilled water.

If you see white crystals forming under your Tower Cap base OR If you are not able to get bubbles down to at least 5% gas volume production but DO get volume at 100%, then you have a gas leak that is bleeding off some of your gas.

This is most often caused by a leaking Tower Cap check valve.

The Tower Cap is NOT supposed to be taken off except for the 100 hour maintenance cleanings.  Fill the AquaCure using the syringe and squirting water into the Tower Cap check valve (which needs the clean water squirted through it to keep it functional).

When the AquaCure reaches 3/4 full, the Yellow ReFill light will come on.  Even if you have an older AquaCure without the ReFill light, don’t allow the AquaCure to go lower than 3/4 full.
When the Yellow ReFill light comes on, refill the AquaCure using the syringe to draw water from the Humidifier tank (obviously take the Humidifier lid off) and squirt the water into the Tower Cap check valve.
Squirt in water until the Yellow light goes out, then 2x more syringefulls to bring the AquaCure to FULL.
Then DUMP the remaining water in the Humidifier tank and refill the Humidifier with fresh pure distilled water.
AquaCure Rinsing Technique
https://youtu.be/oac55WgfIvs
Drain and save the solution, you do not need to mix new solution.  The solution NEVER goes bad.  I’m still using solution I originally mixed back in 1986.
Note that the solution actually becomes more efficient as it gets ‘conditioned’.
You MAY need to (very rarely) add lye since a little is lost during maintenance rinses.
Do maintenance rinses and then pour the solution back in (after it’s settled).
Or SAVE one solution In glass mason jar(s) with plastic lid(s), to put back in after the next maintenance rinse,
It’s nice to have TWO solutions that you change out so you don’t need to wait for it to settle.
Be SURE to label the jars DANGER LYE solution, so that someone doesn’t drink it, thinking it’s lemonade.

Note that if your AquaCure has the Yellow ReFill light, that YOU DO NOT NEED the sight tube.

When the Yellow light comes on, you Refill (from the Humidifier Tank into the Tower Cap check valve) until the Yellow light goes out, then add two more syringfulls to bring the level to FULL.  Then dump the remaining Humidifier water and refill it with fresh pure distilled water.
When Rinsing:
To dissolve soap formations you need water in the 140°F range AND it must FLOW past the soap!
The water must be hot; warm water does little.  Remember to trade out the hot water within a minute or so (at first) because it will cool quickly as it heats up the components.
It’s good not to exceed 140°F or it could damage internal plastic not rated for higher temperature.  You can purchase pot thermometers in most grocery stores.Tap water is recommended because it’s being poured out again and it’s inexpensive.
Just make sure it is HOT, around 140 degrees F.
Some people heat up the water in a pot or tea kettle and use a candy thermometer to get the correct temperature.
You Fill the AquaCure to FULL with HOT water (6 to 7 cups, not the 3 mention in the original instructions).  Then alternately  lift the front and back of the machine down to 60 degrees and HOLD for 10 plus seconds to allow the water TIME to ‘wash’ the HOT water up and down in the Sight Tube; the hot water must FLOW to dissolve the soap.
Note that you CAN safely plug in and turn on the AquaCure with no water and while filling, to see if the level sensors are working properly.  Tipping the machine face to back can also test the sensors and help you see the liquid level in the sight tube.

Do rock it face to back and then HOLD IT in each extreme position (tipped to face and back) for awhile, to allow TIME for the fluid to flow through the small orifices.  Moving too fast does nothing.  Watch for the fluid movement (rise and fall of the fluid level in the sight tube).  It is OK to have the AquaCure plugged in while you do this,
You need to change out the HOT water frequently because it cools off quickly and warm water does little to dissolve soap formations.

When oils meet lye they form SOAP and it’s these soap deposits that require the 100 hour rinsings.  It’s common for distilled water to have oils in it.  Oil doesn’t show up in a TDS test.

The above will give a general idea, but MOST don’t do it correctly.  For most accuracy make sure the final liquid levels inside and outside the gas collecting container are EQUAL (level with each other).  If the levels aren’t equal the pressures won’t be equal and the volume reading will be incorrect.

Lubricate Distiller:
You do not need to take the distiller apart.  You just pull out the boiling tank just like you do to refill it.
This is PREVENTION, not much of a cure.  Once damage is done (by corrosion) it can’t be repaired but if you remove the corrosion before much damage is done, the connection should last for years.
I’m sorry, I currently have no pictures or video.  I didn’t imagine that so simple a task would require them…
But that’s what I call ‘expert’s syndrome’ and I appreciate your asking for clarification.  I will make pictures/video.
In the meantime, if you pull out the boiling tank, you’ll see the black electrical connection in the bottom back of the chassis cavity.  You spray the Fluid Film into the 4 outer holes of the black connector.
There is no question that is too simple to answer.  If you don’t know, ASK!
How else will you learn (without trial and error)?
There’s a saying…
A Wise man learns from his mistakes.
A Really Wise man learns from the mistakes of others” 🙂
I just want to make sure people understand, so that everyone benefits  🙂
May the blessings be
