What you can use the Tee\u00a0for depends on the physics of gaseous fluid flow.
\nGas will always flow to the place of least resistance.<\/p>\n
When two people are\u00a0inhaling, they will not (usually) be inhaling at the same time, so the gas will\u00a0flow alternatively to\u00a0each.<\/p>\n
If using two \u2018bagged\u2019\u00a0limbs (or spot applicator), the gas will first flow to the bag of least\u00a0resistance, then as the resistance\u00a0rises, flow to the other, back and forth\u00a0until both bags are full\u2026 Assuming that the bags are relatively well sealed and\u00a0the\u00a0AquaCure can make enough gas to fill them.<\/p>\n
DO NOT seal the bags\u00a0tight enough that you cut off blood circulation to the limb. \u00a0First\u00a0because having blood circulation is\u00a0good and second because having some fresh\u00a0gas flow is good.<\/p>\n
Using the Tee with two\u00a0different applications, like bagging a limb and goggles will not work, the gas\u00a0will go ONLY to the\u00a0application with the least resistance which in this example\u00a0is the goggles.<\/p>\n
Generally, the AquaCure AC50 only produces enough gas to have\u00a0therapeutic value to one application at a time\u2026<\/p>\n
However, when inhaling, a person is only sucking in air\u00a0about 40% of the time, so 60% of the gas is \u2018wasted\u2019, just venting\u00a0into the\u00a0air.<\/p>\n
So if another person is inhaling (creating a vacuum) at the\u00a0same time as the first person is exhaling (creating a \u2018back\u00a0pressure\u2019), the\u00a0HydrOxy gas will go to the person inhaling.<\/p>\n
If both are inhaling at the same time, the majority of the\u00a0gas will go to the least resistance (person with the biggest inhale\u00a0speed).<\/p>\n
People generally don\u2019t breathe at exactly the same rate, so\u00a0in the end, though it will take longer, both will receive a\u00a0therapeutic value.<\/p>\n
Set the gas flow to the flow rate needed by the SMALLER\u00a0person, to prevent either person from receiving a potentially\u00a0explosive\u00a0mixture.<\/p>\n
So\u2026 I haven\u2019t measured but my understanding of the physics\u00a0involved would say that it\u2019s possible that you could have\u00a0someone inhale AND\u00a0treat a leg or arm, etc. \u00a0If the bagged limb allowed a venting so the bag\u00a0wouldn\u2019t build up ANY\u00a0pressure and would allow gas flow through the bag.\u00a0\u00a0In this scenario, the person inhaling would get the HydrOxy gas from\u00a0the\u00a0AquaCure when inhaling and the gas would go to the bagged limb when exhaling.<\/p>\n
I\u2019d be concerned that during inhalation, the person might ALSO\u00a0get HydrOxy from the gas stored in the bagged limb AND\u00a0the combination might\u00a0make the hydrogen content in the inhaled air to be higher than the explosive\u00a0limit.<\/p>\n
Note that it is also possible (and practical) to bag two (or\u00a0more) limbs at a time using the splitter. \u00a0You can seal the bags\u00a0enough to\u00a0build up a bit of pressure but not so tight that you cut off blood circulation\u00a0to the limbs. \u00a0It\u2019s actually an\u00a0advantage to have a bit of gas flow so\u00a0that fresh gas flows in as existing gas hydrogen gets absorbed into the skin.<\/p>\n
